Plastics:

Bisphenol A (BPA) – Estrogen like chemical
Found in plastic: Water bottles, CDs, Toys
When exposed to sunlight or when overused/deteriorated releases harmful chemicals.
Interferes with normal hormone levels
Ecological impacts
#7 plastics are much more likely to have traces of BPA than #1, #2, and #4 plastics.

Questions to investigate:
Is it easy to test for BPA
What other chemicals like BPA are present in plastic?
